Sukkos Celebration in the M’Finda Kalunga Garden

Must Read

We stopped by the Sukkot celebration at the M’Finda Kalunga Community Garden yesterday afternoon. And today K. Webster, the garden’s co-chair, was nice enough to send us some photos from the event.  Click through to see scenes from the festivities, which included a performance by Steve Elson and Friends, traditional foods and a talk about the meaning of Sukkot from Miriam Bader from the Museum at Eldridge Street. If you would like to read about the garden’s remarkable history, have a look at their web site.
