Enticing avant-garde writer/director (and recent Guggenheim Fellow) Richard Maxwell will bring cutting edge playwright Christina Masciotti‘s play, Vision Disturbance, to the Abrons Arts Center for a three week run (Weds. – Sat.) that begins tomorrow. The play is about a Greek immigrant woman who experiences an eye disorder that includes a loss of depth perception among other perplexing symptoms, while going through a divorce. She seeks treatment from a doctor who uses an unorthodox approach involving music therapy to help her regain her eyesight. Actors Margo Singaliese and Jay Smith will star in the piece.
