LES Resident Catches A-Rod’s 600th Home Run Ball!

Must Read

If you haven’t heard by now, a guy who lives on the Lower East Side caught Alex Rodriguez’s 600th home run ball at Yankee Stadium today.  Zell’s Pinstripe Blog (screen cap above) has the story. In a nutshell, 23-year old Frankie Babilonia was working in the ballpark as a security guard. He wasn’t even supposed to be there today. Frankie was filling in for someone else. Anyway, he says it was “one of the coolest things” in his life. Frankie gave the ball back. In appreciation, A-Rod gave him a bat. I have a feeling Frankie’s Facebook Page is going to get pretty popular.
