The Performance Project at University Settlement is hosting a free Monday Night Salon series throughout their spring season. Tonight, they team up with Live Arts Collaboration to present 5 selected artists from across disciplines who will share samples of their work, illuminate their process and seek out collaboration, conversation and connection. This Salon will be moderated by Matthew Lyons, curator at The Kitchen. On the bill tonight: writer, visual artist, singer, scholar and Harlem native, La Tasha N Nevada Diggs, native New York composer, vocalist and founding director of thingNY, Paul Pinto, PANOPLY Performance Laboratory – a co-operative formed by director/playwright Esther Neff and composer/sound artist/musician Brian Mc Corkle, Brooklyn folk singer and songwriter Zoe Sundra, and KOREresponse – a new contemporary dance company formed by choreographer Rachel Korenstien.
