Dixon Place and The Flea Team Up For This Month’s “Little Theatre”

The OBIE Award-Winning Little Theatre – a monthly presentation of new theatre, dance, performance & media, curated by Jeffrey M. Jones & Mike Taylor – continues tonight with a great lineup at Dixon Place. The evening will be co-hosted by The Flea theater and is a fundraiser to support the Erik Ehn silent retreat for playwrights to be held this summer at Pataphysics, the Flea theater’s regular playwriting workshop. Performances will include It’s Not my Fault, an excerpt from DOT by Kate E. Ryan, directed by Anne Kauffman and Mia Rovegno, with music by Mike Iveson; A Devil at Noon (excerpt) by Anne Washburn; Muazzez (excerpt) by Mac Wellman; and A Choral Ode from A Letter from Omdurman, by Jeffrey M. Jones.

Go early for the cocktail party. $5 raffle tickets for “Pataphysical goodies including tickets to SoHo Rep, PS122, The Flea …, books, DVDs, etc.”  6:30-8pm: Pre-show cocktails and raffle in the Dixon Place Bar Lounge.  Show starts at 8:00pm. $30 for pre-show cocktails PLUS a ticket to the Little Theater performance. $15 for Little Theatre only.
