Last night, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver joined other elected officials, city officials and community leaders at a meeting to assure victims of the Grand Street fire they would not be forgotten. It was a dramatic and emotional gathering at the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association headquarters on Mott Street. We’ll have a report later today. Also, we’ll have an update on the traffic accident that killed a pedestrian on Delancey Street earlier this week.
