It might not have been quite as high profile as Allen & Delancey, but another Lower East Side restaurant appears to be packing it in. This afternoon, a truck from a short-term storage company is outside 63 Clinton, otherwise known as “SavorNY.” This morning a tipster related to us what a former employee told her: the restaurant closed for good Saturday night. The phone line has been disconnected. The small plates restaurant was run by Craig Gross. Just so there’s no confusion: there are (were) actually two restaurants in 63 Clinton. The other one, Cube 63, is apparently still going strong.
