Woman Sues LES Bar Over Moose Head Incident

Must Read

The Associated Press reports:

A customer at a bar on Delancey Street, White Slab Palace, says she was hit in the head by a moose head that fell off the wall.

Raina Kumra has filed a lawsuit, claiming negligence. Kumra says she suffered a concussion and “other injuries” in the October 4th incident. In a complaint filed last week, she alleges the 150-pound moose head, adorned with 3-foot-wide antlers, came sailing off the wall. The owners of White Slab Palace did not immediately return the AP’s phone message. Kumra is representing herself.

She’s seeking unspecified damages. The lawsuit was filed in state Supreme Court in Manhattan.
