High hopes; gentle letdown. Been in this beautiful place before for drinks (which are great) so when the opportunity to catch a meal presented itself last night we jumped. Along with another couple we sat at the bar and ordered across the menu. Regretfully the food was uneven at best. Great mushroom sauce was wasted over rubber gnocchi, and delicious polenta supported tiny and flavorless garlic shrimp. Rice Balls were a delicious and crispy starter (cheese sticks for adults).Razor clams and artichoke hearts were outstanding, as was the service and overall vibe. Given the somewhat reasonable prices – and great location I guess we will give it another shot.
