The settlement house fundraiser presents a showcase of emerging talent from their local youth organizations, celebrating transformational change ignited by the arts in the LES community.
Making Space for Downtown Dreams is a one-night-only extravaganza designed to reawaken the settlement house arts movement that launched the careers of so many legendary artists and leaders.
A champagne toast will kick off the night, followed by explosive experimental dancehall, break dance, vogue-ing, film, rap and song. Join US after the show for an exclusive after-party at internationally shown artist Hale Gurland's studio in a landmark synagogue across the street. All proceeds from the night will benefit the arts at University Settlement.
