Strangers Abroad: Travel the World through Stories

21 A Clinton St
New York City, NY 10002
United States

Strangers Abroad is a podcast that gives voice to the world and those who explore it. Host Adrien Behn is a storyteller and solo female traveler who has explored 35 countries with her rugged backpack as her only companion. As she trekked from country to country, she found that she was not only discovering the external world, but her internal one as well. Her travels shook her understanding of how the world revolves and the human condition. She recorded the stories of all the wonderful and weird strangers she met along the way and transformed them into a podcast. And now, she's bringing them to you live. Join Adrien and a phenomenal lineup of storytellers for an evening of hilarious, harrowing, and heartwarming tales about the realities of traveling. We might get hopelessly lost, attacked by animals, or ride on the backs of motorbikes with strangers. Anything can happen when we leave the comforts of our homes, and when it does, Strangers Abroad is your home for those stories. Travel is more than the Instagram photos and the souvenirs: it's about finding kindness and connection on every continent.
