Are your precious memories sitting boxed up in your apartment or storage unit? Join conservator�Lauren P. Isaacs�of�Flying Pig Art Conservation�as she demonstrates how to pack, store, and display items safely and affordably so they endure the test of time. Learn essential skills like: how to make enclosures for delicate paper items; how to humidify folded or rolled items for digitization, storage, or display; and how to stabilize tears without the use of tape.

About the Presenter:�Lauren Paige Isaacs�is a professionally trained conservator, holding a Masters Degree and corresponding Certificate of Advanced Study in Art Conservation from the State University of New York: College at Buffalo.�

This workshop is part of MOCA's Preserving Family Heritage Workshop Series funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities. Led by museum and archives professionals, these workshops will teach you expert techniques for preserving your heirlooms. Each workshop includes a presentation, demonstration, and opportunities for hands-on learning.
