On February 14, 2018, Fred Guttenberg's 14-year-old daughter was murdered at a school in Parkland, Florida by a gunman with a semiautomatic rifle.

Next Thursday, Fred will sit down for a conversation with ABC News' Chief National Correspondent, Matt Guttman, about how his life changed after the loss of his daughter. Fred will speak about how he channeled his grief into political activism and why his Jewish upbringing instilled in him a commitment to family, service, and standing up for others.

The event is hosted by the Center for Jewish History & the American Jewish Historical Society. Please let me know if you're able to include this as an event listing, or if you need anything else from me! More info about the event is available at this link.
