For the past six (6) years, it's been a Town & Village (T&V) Synagogue (www.tandv.org) tradition to offer ASL interpretations at a Service and Dinner on "Shabbat Across America", and we're doing it again this year on March 1st, and hope that YOU'll be joining us then, too!
Meat dinners will be served, as will vegetarian and gluten-free options -- please specify what you prefer when you respond. Anyone can attend the Service (just come!), but the dinner will have an admission charge, and advance reservations are required(!) so please respond ASAP as described below.
WHAT: A Service on "Shabbat Across America", with a dinner, too!
WHEN: 6:00 PM (Service) & (approximately) 7:15 PM (Dinner -- RSVP required by NOON, Wednesday, February 27th) on Friday, March 1st
WHERE: Town & Village Synagogue, 334 East 14th Street, NYC, NY 10003 (between 1st and 2nd Avenues in Manhattan)
WHO: Jessica Ames and Craig Fogel, and their work will be underwritten thanks to UJA-Federation of New York's Jewish Community Deaf Interpreter Fund
HOW MUCH: Service is free, but the dinner costs $23 for adult reservations; Children ages 10-18 cost $10 each, and 0-9 are free. (Families can reserve for a flat rate of $50.)
REGISTRATION/PAYMENT: Reserve/pay online (using a credit card) via T&V's Website (https://tandv.org/shabbat-across-america) -- Scroll down to enter your Email Address and Name; Choose "Dinner Reservation" or, if you're signing up two (2) adults with any children ages 10-18, "Family Dinner"; and select how many of each option you'd like to sign up for. Don't forget to specify how many of each meal preference (Standard/Meat, Vegetarian or Gluten-Free) you'd like, to check the box to sit with the ASL Community, and to list your name and anyone else who's signing up with you in the "Additional Information" box! You can pay by credit card with a small fee, or by eCheck. (Please also remember to email Bram with any questions.)
For additional information, please contact Bram at firstname.lastname@example.org or (212) 677-0368v.
Thanks, and we'll hope to see you there!
(Schedule is subject to change.)
