Celebrate Chinese and Chinese American traditions and folk arts with arts & crafts, and dance performances, teaching artist demonstrations, storytelling, and much more family fun! Buy your tickets for Session 1 (10am – 1pm) or Session 2 (2 – 5pm)-both sessions will have the same awesome lineup of special guests and fun activities.

The Session 2 schedule includes the following special events-

The Mane Event: A Lion Dance Performance at 2pm

Whirling, Twirling Ribbons: A Ribbon Dance Workshop at 2:30pm and 3pm

Sounds of the New Year at 4pm

Note on Performance Tickets: 

Performance tickets for Whirling, Twirling Ribbons and Sounds of the New Year are free with Family Festival ticket purchase, but quantities are limited! Visitors who purchase Family Festival tickets online, in advance, get first access to performance tickets until tickets run out. Entry to performances is not guaranteed, even with advance online purchase of Festival tickets.

Performance tickets are distributed upon entry to the Festival. Visitors who purchase Family Festival tickets on the day of the festival will be put on the waitlist for performances.

$12 per person; $8 for children 2 & up; Free for MOCA Family Level Members and above, children under 2, and Cool Culture families. Advance ticket purchase highly recommended.
